Purpose

Burns Military Christian Academy's objective is to provide Christian children with a quality education that incorporates godly insights and perspectives. The Bible is not merely a subject but is examined and applied in every area of intellectual and social interest.

At BMCA, we believe that the Christian school is an extension of a God-fearing, Christ-centered home and is not meant to replace parental responsibility in rearing the children that God has entrusted to them. Therefore, it is our school's aspiration to collaborate with parents in nurturing and educating children by God's grace.

BMCA exists to support Christian parents in fulfilling God's command to:

• Walk not "in the council of the ungodly ..." (Psalm 1:1)

• "Learn not the way of the heathen," (Jeremiah 10:2)

• "Train up a child in the way he should go ..." (Proverbs 22:6)

• Cease "to hear the instruction that causeth thee to err from the words of knowledge ..." (Proverbs 19:27)

• Bring up their children in the "nurture and admonition of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4)

We strive to be "an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity" (I Timothy 4:12). Additionally, we aim to teach academics that prepare students for college or the modern workplace.

Our primary goal is to guide students towards a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and to help them learn to love and obey God and His Word. We aim to train students in Christian leadership, developing within them self-discipline, courtesy, and respect for others and their property, alongside good citizenship, respect for the law, individual responsibility, personal integrity, and the highest standards of morality and behavior.

It is important to understand that attendance at Burns Military Christian Academy is a privilege, not a right. The goal of this school is to train the youth of today in the highest principles of Christian leadership, self-discipline, individual responsibility, personal integrity, punctuality, and good citizenship. BMCA stands without apology for the whole Bible and all the truth, principles, standards, methods, and philosophies contained in Scripture.
